New technology products sparks rebrand

Action Cameras has rebranded itself to Action Gear after adding outdoor and sporting technology products to its range of helmet cameras and accessories. Its new tag line, "Life begins where the tar ends", sums up its new offerings.

Commenting on the decision to re-brand, Warrick Kernes, founder and MD of Action Gear said, "Our previous success was a result of our in-depth product knowledge and dedication to customer service; we are now excited to be moving into a wider product range, while still maintaining these two core values. We will be leveraging these strengths into new complementary product segments to offer our current and future customers a much wider range of high tech sporting gear with our same service levels and product knowledge. As we expand beyond just cameras we see it fit that we make this change under a new brand."

Vaimo has developed its new website, using Magento, a rapidly growing platform for e-commerce. The website offers customers more than just a place to buy outdoor and sporting technology products but also a platform to gain as much information as possible about the products through customer reviews, blog posts and videos.

"Customers will now be able to purchase products such as night vision goggles, solar chargers, scopes, torches and experience packages such as skydiving, shark cage diving, rally driving and more. As technologies are constantly changing, we will also be continually adding new, exciting outdoor and sporting technology products to the site so customers should keep on visiting the site to check out what's new," concludes Kernes.
