Sheen, one of the stars of "Two and a Half Men" has been written out of his final episode in the hit CBS series by being hit by a subway train. According to Rose (played by Melanie Lynskey) his obsessed neighbour, Sheen's character, Charlie Harper "exploded like a balloon full of meat".
The episode ended the month-long mystery of how Sheen would be removed from the series so that his replacement, Ashton Kutcher could be written into it.
"Sad day for everyone"
Sheen played the millionaire writer Harper with Jon Cryer, his live-in brother and Angus T Jones playing Alan's son Jake. Series creator Chuck Lorre used a funeral scene to spew his own insults at Sheen.
During the scene, Alan says that the funeral is a "sad day for everyone" when a woman at the wake pipes up: "Speak for yourself".
Sheen and his attorney have yet to confirm that a deal between the former star and Warner Brothers has been concluded or that a cash payment has been made. Needless to say, it's pretty certain that Sheen will still have enough money to keep him in a manner he's grown accustomed to over the years.
The final episode was the most-watched ever in the history of the comedy series being viewed by an estimated 28,7-million people. Meanwhile, Sheen has not given up on his acting career as he appeared in a highly rated episode of Comedy Central.
