Die Heuwels Fantasties live in Pretoria

Pop group Die Heuwels Fantasties will be playing in the Old Mutual Music in the Gardens Concert Series at the National Botanical Gardens, Pretoria, on Sunday 31 July, 2011.

Die Heuwels Fantasties was formed in 2008 and comprises Hunter Kennedy, Pierre Greeff, Fred den Hartog and Philip Erasmus.

In 2010 Die Heuwels Fantasties' eponymous album achieved gold status and they toured The Netherlands, Belgium and the UK with Jack Parrow. The hit singles Oorlewing 101 and Vinger Alleen reached number one on the major campus radio stations. Die Heuwels Fantasties won a SAMA award for Best Afrikaans Alternative album. They also won four MK Awards in 2011 including Best Group and Best Video.

Gates open at noon and the main act is at 3pm. Gates close at 6pm.

A restaurant and Tea Garden are available on site. Alcohol is not sold and is only available in the restaurant. A Kids Zone is available from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

Guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets and blankets (Note: no glass, tin cans or cutlery allowed into venue - please use plastic instead.)
