Says Lindani Mnyandu, Nando's General Manager Marketing Communications, "We wanted to create a space to remember and commemorate the day."
Nando's called on South Africans to go out and capture #16Pictures and share their photographs of what they did on Youth Day to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #16pictures.
From now until June 20, every day a new 16 of the most inspiring pictures captured on Youth Day will be selected and showcased on the Nando's Facebook Page and Twitter feed (@NandosSA). The first 16 pictures are already up and can be seen here.
Nando's has committed to donating a minimum of R10,000 to the Hector Pietersen Memorial Museum, with the promise of an additional R1 for every photograph shared, over 10,000, until a maximum of 50,000.
