New Media TASTES success

New Media's popular new customer magazine Woolworths TASTE, took top honours at the 2004 ADMag Awards ceremony in Johannesburg last week, winning the coveted Magazine of the Year and Best Custom Publication Awards.

TASTE editor Sumien Brink, who is also at the helm of South Africa's décor magazine VISI and Plascon Colour, was awarded the AD mags Editor of the Year Award.

The publishing house scooped merit awards in the Annual magazine (Eat In), Décor magazine (VISI) and Custom magazine (Plascon Colour) categories, further entrenching its position as one of South Africa's foremost contract and consumer publishing houses.

Publisher Irna van Zyl says the success of TASTE is truly a team effort: "The Woolworths team is extremely creative and has extensive knowledge of all things culinary - combine this with the talent and the experience of the New Media TASTE team and the end result is a food magazine of unsurpassed quality.

"The consumer's verdict of Woolworths TASTE magazine has been extremely favourable right from the first issue and we are delighted that its quality and success has now received industry recognition."
