2009 One Show Interactive jury announced

NEW YORK: Twenty eight top creative directors in the field of interactive advertising were announced as judges last week for the 2009 One Show Interactive, which celebrates the year's best in digital media and web design.

“Interactive advertising is the keystone in any advertising campaign today,” said Kevin Swanepoel, president of The One Club. “Digital media allows for a dialogue between the consumer and the brand. This year's jury includes some of the most influential and well regarded creatives in digital advertising today.”

The One Show Interactive Branded Applications and Mobile Branded Applications categories have been created to award branding devices such as screensavers, widgets, website and mobile application - for example, the Apple store now features over 50 000 different mobile apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

This year's international jury originates from 10 different countries and will meet in New York, 17 - 20 March, to choose the winners.

The 12th annual One Show Interactive Awards will take place on 8 May in New York as part of The One Club's festival week, which includes The One Show on 6 May and One Show Design on 4 May.
