AMASA learnership programme invites entries

The 2010 AMASA Learnership Programme (ALP) is open to three talented post-grads to receive a hands-on experience to kick-start their career in media. A key objective of the ALP is to recruit youngsters who might not necessarily have considered a career in media but have the aptitude and potential to become leaders in the industry.

Partner agencies will employ the successful candidates who are enrolled on the AAA media module and AMASA Media Planning workshop. The 2009 interns, Prince Ndlovo and Colleen Maphumulo, placed at Starcom MediaVest Group and Mediaedge respectively, have both made progress and are employed by their agencies.

AMASA's Johannesburg chairperson, Brad Aigner comments, “Our primary focus is to drive the development of smart young people into our industry. Through ALP, we offer talented graduates an unprecedented foot in the door to learn from the best.
